Fragrant chicken soup with celery root, herbs and vegetables is an excellent dish for a wholesome and hearty dinner for the whole family. It is quickly prepared and will bring to your body only valuable vitamins, proteins and carbohydrates.

- 1 small celery root or half large (250 gr)
- 1-2pcs chicken fillet
- 2 potatoes
- 150 gr white cabbage
- 1 average carrot
- 1 bulb
- 1 pepper
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tsp dried basil
- 2 tsp dried oregano
- salt and pepper to taste
The recipe for cooking at home
First prepare the broth: fill the fillet with 2 l of cold water and put on fire. After boiling, reduce heat, add a little salt, add bay leaf, a few peas of pepper and cook for about half an hour with a slight boil. Remove the fillet on a plate and let cool, then cut into medium sized pieces or disassemble into fibers.
Peel the celery root and grate it on a coarse grater. Mix it with lemon juice and leave for 5 minutes.
Peel the carrots, cut into small cubes.
Peel onion and finely chop.
Chopped peeled potatoes.
Wash the bell peppers, take out the seed box and clean the pulp from the seeds. Cut bell pepper into strips.
Boil the broth in a saucepan, add potatoes with bell pepper and carrots. Let it boil for 7-8 minutes, add grated celery root, onion and boiled chicken. After a couple of minutes, add dried herbs, pepper and, if necessary, salt the soup to taste.
Meanwhile, chop the cabbage.
Send cabbage to the chicken soup from celery root, cook for another 5 minutes with a slight boil. Remove the pan from the heat, cover and let it brew for half an hour. Serve the soup hot. Enjoy your meal!
